Yes the NCL UBP is the best. MSC does offer the beverage packing but does no5 include all types of liquor, you have to upgrade but not cheap. I will be sailing with celebrity and they off the classic free with cruise, you can upgrade to premium and not too expensive, and only one person can upgrade not everyone.
i have food allergies. We are used to being spoiled by Holland America where I choose my entree the night before and my dinner appears garlic, onion, etc., free the next night with no fuss.Compare? Also, we are used to the tight sanitation practices of Holland America. Compare?Thank you!Nancy
I used to cruise more with another line, but now that I cruised NCL with Free at Sea and had a great time, I want to give NCL as many chances as I gave the other line (I went 4 times with the other line) so now I have 2 more booked with NCL already (the getaway again, and the jade). one of them even had the free airfare promo!
We have sailed with NCL four times. Have never used another cruise line because we just like everything about NCL so much. Our next cruise is the 9-day Baltic cruise in Aug 2020. We have the Beverage Pkg and the Excursion Pkg picked, but now we are thinking of booking our own tours instead of NCL ones. We will have to find out if we can exchange the Excursion perk for another one. But we are not sure which one would be best for the money. Do you have any thoughts? I see you mentioned that the Specialty Dining has free dinners. I had thought that you just get a discounted rate on those dinners. Could you let me know if they are free. Thanks.
Now, in a "Heroes Sail Free" program announced Sept. 7, veterans, active-duty troops, first responders and educators who are verified through the GovX ID system can get free passage on two-night sailings between Sept. 9, 2022, and Dec. 29, 2023.
Only those verified through the platform get free tickets, and single occupancy for rooms, which typically carries a higher cruise price tag, is permitted. Additional passengers who are not verified by GovX are full price.
The freebie does carry some blackout dates -- Dec. 30, 2022, and Dec. 31, 2023 -- and the website states that additional dates can be added at any time. Passengers on free tickets will need to pay fees and taxes, which sit at about $90 for a cruise priced at $99, and the tickets are non-transferable. Qualified passengers can take one free cruise a year, the website says.
